Peanut Shell™ Sizing
The correct fit of the Peanut Shell™ pouch should feel pretty snug. If you are new to sling wearing you may even think it is too small! With the right size and with your baby inside the pouch it will rest in line with (or above) your hip bones.
To find your size take your chest measurement, (above your bust right under your armpits) and shoulder to hip measurement (across from one shoulder to the opposite hip bone) to determine the right size for you. Keep in mind that the "correct" size is what works for you and your baby. Most people can wear 2 different sizes - as you can in clothes. The chart below will help you find your size.

Consider your height and torso length as well when ordering. If you have a long torso, you might want to order a larger size. If your torso is shorter, consider a smaller size. Your Peanut Shell™ size will most likely be what your fitted t-shirt size would be.
A few sizing tips:
Please keep in mind that the baby will look kind of squished in the cradle carry - this is a good thing and not an indicator that the sling it too small: As long as baby seems content they are not too squished, it just looks that way to us.
Pouch too small:
* It is next to impossible to get your baby into the pouch
* You are uncomfortably tight with baby inside
* You feel like you can't breathe with the sling on
Sling too big:
* Baby rides too low, below your hip bones
* Your baby does not feel secure and snug in the pouch
Correct Fit: (as pictured)
* You and baby are comfortable
* Baby is in line or above your hip bone
* Baby feels snuggly supported in the pouch
